Japanese Tracker Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Japanese Tracker. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Japanese Tracker ("Japanese Tracker," "we," "us," or "our") that governs your use of our website, study tracker product, and all related services (the "Services").
By creating an account (if available) or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully.
1. Our Services
Japanese Tracker provides a daily Japanese study tracker where you can check off study categories and log time (via a timer or manual minute entry). The Services may change over time, including during the MVP.
2. Account and Eligibility
Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use the Services.
Account Security
If accounts are available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Account Use
Accounts (if available) are intended for individual use. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
3. User Content and Data
Your Content
You are solely responsible for the content you submit while using the Services, including your study logs, time logged (minutes and seconds), resource links, and any immersion notes you choose to record ("User Content").
Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. We do not claim ownership over it.
License to Us
You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the Services for you.
Data Storage and Control
Data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. In the MVP, your tracking data may be stored locally in your browser.
4. Acceptable Use
Do not misuse the Services. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or access the Services in an unauthorized way. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
5. Subscriptions and Payment
We may offer subscription and one-time purchase plans. Current pricing is displayed on the website (for example, $5/month and $47 lifetime). If you purchase a plan, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method. Monthly subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services (including the website, software, and brand) are and will remain the exclusive property of Japanese Tracker. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
"As Is" Service
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties.
No Warranty
We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Japanese Tracker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the past twelve months.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services at our discretion, including if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Japanese Tracker operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be handled in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Modifications
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on the website.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Japanese Tracker regarding the Services.
